How do I make an instrument for phsyics class?
I have to make an instrument for my high school physics class. This can't be something simple like a tissue box with string attached to it. It has to be able to make sound and will be performed in front of the class. Please help me think of an idea AND how to build it because I am not good at physics at all. Thank you!
You can make a simple pipe organ with different length of copper pipes. Seal one end of pipe,then blow air side way with your mouth. It shall make a tone according to the length of pipe. Read physic chapter "sound" has more detail.
Another more simple way is using the same material to make a Chinese Ding-Tong bell. Cut different length of copper pipes and hanging them with thin string.
