A GPS is a compact, handheld device that serves the purpose of navigation. It helps pin-point directions to a certain location. They can also be used to determine the precise location of an individual/asset during an emergency situation. Being lightweight, these devices can be taken along for hiking, fishing, climbing or mountaineering. Nowadays, GPS devices can be seen in almost every other gadget as a standard feature. Cars, mobile phones and watches usually have integrated GPS systems.

How Do GPS Maps work?

GPS satellites basically calculate the position coordinates of a certain person/asset and displays it on a map. GPS satellites are a great help during land surveys, military exercises, map creation etc. These satellites can pinpoint a location up to a few meters. The process involves calculating precise coordinates of a GPS receiver. This is known as 3-D Trilateration. Distance of the traveling signal is processed through 2 or 3 different satellites and exact location is found within a matter of minutes.

There are various things you can find on GPS map. These include road maps displaying traffic information including street names, speed limits, traffic flow, route, highways, U-turns, and location of parking lots. Also, users can see 'points of interest' and 'Waypoint' on the map. These maps are usually revised once a year. New locations and street addresses are updated frequently.

One latest feature that allows users to interact through GPS systems is the Point of interest. This allows users to tag information about a certain location/point on the GPS map. For example, if you like a particular Chinese restaurant and wish to tell people about it, you just add a good review of check that as point of interest.

This can be done for many other things such as best hospital, lakes, shopping malls, clubs, getaways, scenic locations etc. You name it and tag it. Other people, those who are new in town, can use this information to check out the happening points in a city. Hence the name, points of interest. It is different from a waypoint in the sense that it is more interactive and mentions personal interest of another GPS user.

While buying a GPS navigator, it is essential that you check out whether some of the basic functions are available or not.

* First of all, check the accuracy of the GPS navigator. Normally, a satellite based GPS is accurate to within 4-5 meters of the entered location.

* Next thing - check how many points of interest are displayed on the screen. Is there any other additional information about the location displayed on the screen? Is the information correct?

* Design and ergonomics of the GPS navigator should be well suited to the application. A system that is to be used in a vehicle should be well built.

GPS devices have emerged as a handheld device that benefit during both recreational and outdoor activities. The development of the GPS has completely changed the way we travel, shop, and enjoy leisure activities. So, while shopping, chose carefully and keep your requirements in mind.

How To Create A Hot Selling Internet Product That's Guaranteed
To Sell In The Fastest Possible Time

We all know that selling eBooks is a fantastic way of making
money online. It's a business that seems to grow with every day
that goes by. More and more eBooks are coming out all the time.
Why? Simple. Because they work.

Think about it. They can all be sent via email or instant
download, yet people still say anything from £5-£49 for them.
It's all about finding a hungry market, and then providing them
with exactly what they want.

The question is how do you find that market? And once you've
found them how do you know what exactly that market wants?

Well this is a simple answer. An answer that could potentially
make you alot of money very quickly.

Newsgroups and forums.

Let me explain. The internet has a newsgroup and forum for
literally every subject you can think of. If someone has an
interest in it then there will be a forum or newsgroup on it.

Now here's how this works:

You want to come up with a subject that interests you. You must
have an interest in it or. This doesn't mean you have to know
anything about it, but the subject matter must to hold your
interest.

Now you've got your subject write down ten or twenty questions,
tell people to answer as many or all of them as they can.

If your subject matter was health (the hot topic of the moment)
you could have questions such as "what is your main concern
about your health?" etc.

You tell all the people who answer your questions that they will
recieve a special mention or free copy of the book once it's
finished.

What your effectively doing is planting an internet 'seed'.
You'll go back to the site and find that dozens if not hundreds
of people have answered your questions.

People will have told you which questions they desperately want
the answer to.

Then all you do is research the info they want to know, write it
all down, tidy it up a bit and hey presto you've got an eBook
that the specific market has TOLD you they wanted created.
They've told you the info they wanted to know and all you've
done is put it all into a book.

You can research the questions they want the anwers to by just
searching on google. There are answers to every question on the
net you've just got to spend a bit of time looking for them.

It's for this reason that people don't search the net for
themselves. Time. But they sure as hell would buy a book with
all the information they wanted in it. They wouldn't be able to
get their credit card out quick enough if you provide them with
the answrs they want to know.

This is where newgroups and forums can make you tons and tons of
money. Step by step here's a summary of how this works.

1) Decide on which niche market to sell to.

EG.Health, Golf, Making Money, Fishing etc.

2)Place a polite message on as many newsgroups and forums as you
want to asking people what things they would desperately like to
know about the category. Tell them that should they help you
will provide them with a free copy of the book when it's
finished. This costs you nothing (remember eBooks are all sent
via email or download) and convinces them to spend a little time
on your project.

3)You go back to the news groups/forums a week or so later and
jot down all the questions they want answered.

4)Search for the answers to the questions and copy and paste
them onto a word document.

5)Tidy it up, put it into a PDF format and your ready to go!

OR

5b)Give a ghostwriter all of the notes and ask them to make it
into a book for you.

You don't just have to limit yourself to an eBook either. If the
people are snapping up your eBook product then chances are
they'll love it as a paper and ink product to so think about
advertising it through direct mail/mail order and bringing in
even more profits.

This really is the easiest way to create a hot selling internet
product that your market will love in the fastest possible time.

All the best in your new venture.

Wide Reciever help week 6. which 2 should i play?

Randy moss (New England)--- already guaranteed to play.
Andre Johnson (Houston)--- injured and reserved right now

Of the following 3 which 2 should i play

Ronald Curry (Oakland)
Joey Galloway (Tampa Bay)
Andre Davis (Houston)

Ronald Curry and Joey Galloway. Curry has been very good this season. Andre Davis just has too tough of a matchup this week and lack of running game is going to kill the passing game this week for Houston. The same argument could be said for TB but Garcia is more mobile and Galloway is his Only target.

Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver DeSean Jackson leaves training camp practice with back injury
Saints' Bush says USC controversy won't affect his play
