is there a certain type of pad i need
1) if your mouse is an optical mouse i would suggest using plain paper instead of buying new mouse pads. i learned that from experience.
2) if your mouse is a track ball type then you need to clean the mouse regularly or buy a new optical mouse which is a lot more efficient and make sure put plain paper under it.
