ford 5.0 starter rebuilding?
can any 1 tell me where i can find info, not kits for ford starter rebuilding.ok heres the deal the starter motor runs when i push the thing down on the side of the starter,,the thing,lol,i no in gm its called a cylonide,but dont know what it is called for a ford,but it shotes the bendix out to hit the fly wheel that is the only thing wrong with it .it went bad from sitting,how do i fix?
you would be better off,,and it would be cheaper to just get a rebuilt starter,,it comes with a warranty on it,,if spend the money on this one,,and it still gives problems,,your out that much money,,,plus the cost of a rebuilt one,,now which one makes more sense,,good luck with it,i own a repair shop,,and do this every day of my life,,hope this help,s.
