Convert Video from FLV(Flash Video) to AAC(iTunes Audio) with FLV to Video Converter
- FLV to AAC
This tutorial is to show you how to convert music videos downloaded from YouTube and Google Video, etc. to AAC for digital audio. First of all, we have to make it clear that the YouTube videos and Google videos communicating online are of the Flash Video file, or FLV file format. -
What is FLV?
FLV, or Flash Live Video file, is a preferred file format that is designed for web playback, offering high rates of compression to deliver video over the Internet using Adobe Flash Player.
FLV content cannot be played back directly but must be embedded in (or linked from) an SWF file. You create (or download) a "container" SWF file from which to play the FLV file. The most common approach is to use an SWF file that functions as a media player with screen and playback controls. Notable users of the FLV format include YouTube, Google Video, Reuters.com, Yahoo! Video and MySpace. -
What is AAC?
Advanced Audio Coding (AAC) is a standardized, lossy compression and encoding scheme for digital audio. AAC is promoted as the successor to the MP3 format by MP3's creator, Fraunhofer IIS.
Depending on the encoder used, AAC generally achieves better sound quality than MP3 at the same bit rate, particularly below 192 kbit.
AAC's most famous usage is as the default audio format of Apple's iPhone, iPod iTunes, and the format used for all iTunes Store audio (with extensions for proprietary Digital Rights Management (DRM) where used).
AAC is also the standard audio format for Sony's PlayStation 3 and the video standard. HE-AAC is part of digital radio standards like DAB+ and Digital Radio Mondiale.

Does Your Tv and radio signal arrive in mono to be converted to stereo by your tv/ dvdrw/r_/+rw recorder.?
My dvd hdd recorder says the signal is mono but it comes out of my hdtv it is in stereo.
Normally it should be a STEREO ANALOG Signal and NOT mono. How do you have it connected? What type of Wires/Cables are you using to get the TV or Radio signal?
What type of Cables/ wires are running TO the DVD rw and or TV?
If you are using a Cable/Satellite Feed which uses a COAXIAL cable then it should be a STEREO Signal coming into your devices. Also if you are using either a COAXIAL Cable, 3 RCA Cables for Audio (The Red and White RCA Jacks and Yellow for VIDEO), or a S-Video Cable (For the VIDEO feed) and RCA Audio Jacks (Red and White) then any of these connections would give you a STEREO FEED. If you do not have one of these configurations, or if one of the AUDIO Cables is disconnected so that you are ONLY getting 1 side of the AUDIO stream then you may be getting ONLY MONO.
Secondly if you do NOT have the same setup for going into the DVD rw device you will have the same issue. I KNOW that some OLD VCRs ONLY came with one AUDIO connection which would be a MONO FEED that would be seperated by your TV, but when you have a MONO feed it will NOT be as clear as if it started out with a STEREO FEED.
I would check ALL you connections to the TV and out to ANY of your Devices first..If you have any further problems or questions please feel free to send me an email..
