It is a requirement that any individual that wants to become a pilot must complete their high school. It is even better if they can have some courses from college to support this as well.

Any Company that is thinking of hiring pilots will demand at least 2 years of college requirements. If a student is thinking of becoming a pilot then there are certain courses that they should think about. Courses in mathematics and physics are very important. Individuals that are thinking of becoming pilots can find training schools that are private or even training in the military as a pilot.

A school that is allowed to teach pilot training has to be accredited by the FAA.

For one to get their private pilots license is not all that hard. Where it becomes difficult is when one wants a commercial license. There are going to be 2 major requirements to get started. You will have to pass a special medical examination and a pilot instructor will have to give you a certificate and you will only get this after passing a special test.

These tests will be part of the FAA rules that you will need to know. Also you have to be at least seventeen years old or older plus you will have to complete 20 hours of solo flying in addition to some other requirements.

There are many types of pilot licenses available to the individual that wants to take the training. Any individual that has become a student in a pilot training program must fly with a training instructor for a period of time.

Once they have reached the requirements then they can go on to solo flying.

A student can get a certificate as a recreational pilot there are many restrictions with this type of training. They can only fly into controlled airports and only have a certain number of passengers.

A private pilot certificate means you can carry passengers but there are still restrictions. Commercial pilots are allowed to make a living as a pilot. In this capacity they can find paying jobs and make their careers from flying. Airline transport pilots fly as being captains.

Any type of pilot must be licensed through the FAA for commercial flying. this Takes 250 hours of flight time and being 18 years or older. Medical exams and written tests are also required and you must also have a plane rating. There are several other requirements as well.

In any event one can start off with achieving their recreational license and then if chooses to do so continue their training to upgrade their status. This choice will depend on what they want to achieve with their Pilot's license as well as time and money.

It certainly is something that is achievable though and can produce a bright future in both recreation or a career if that is what one wants.

CompletePilot Review - How The CompletePilot Course Can Help You Become A Pilot

Ever since I was a child, I always dreamed of flying. In fact, I even planned on applying for the Air Force in order for me to fly jets. However, I never did get that chance and for many years, my dream of flying never did come true.

I still did want to fly but I didn´t have the money to get extensive formal flying lessons. In fact, I still have a hard time producing enough money every month to pay for rent for my apartment in the city. Now, what more for flying lessons?

I also have a friend who is now a private pilot and has a license for it. After meeting with him, he told me about the Complete Private Pilot Training Course on this website: CompletePilot and he told me that this is where he learned how to fly and how he got his private pilot license.

At first I was really skeptical but I decided to give it a try. Besides, this may be my last chance of learning how to fly a plane or a helicopter for that matter.

Once I started learning how to fly using the CompletePilot course I found that flying isn´t all the complicated. Everything in this product was really easy to understand. From the controls to fly planes and helicopters to knowing how to take off and land, basically everything was thoroughly explained by the instructor.

My passion for flying was truly revitalized upon finding out that flying a plane is not that hard to do. I got to know about the basics of flying a plane.

The instructor was really a professional. He had a track record of piloting 10 different aircrafts that ranged from the small DC-3 to the large Boeing 747 commercial airplane.

I thought the kid inside me was gone forever but thanks to this product, I now got that kid inside of me who love to fly back.

I have to admit that I read a lot of instructional books on learning how to fly a plane. However, none of them can really compare to CompletePilot. This product is one of the most complete and comprehensive flight instruction manuals I have ever come across with. This product has taught me a lot of things that I didn´t even learn on flight school and it really helped me go through my flight instruction course easily. The In-Flight Diversion Handbook?

Hi,
Im a student pilot, my instructor insists on me getting an aviation book called "The In-Flight Diversion Handbook", John Nghiwete. Where can i get it and what is it exactly about.

I had never heard of this book, so went looking. Try this: http://www.prweb.com/releases/2007/4/prweb518833.htm

Late note: In reading the answers below mine, I begin to realize how far out of touch I have gotten. To me, the GPS is a cute toy that I sometimes use for backup. Afraid I still use the stuff I learned nearly half a century ago for navigation.
