I bought a blanket at a military surplus store; it may be used. I took it to a cleaners to have it cleaned. I left it in the plastic until recently. It stinks. It almost has a urine smell. How can I wash it? How can I get the stink out of it?
Those blankets have unique smell...you should find out if it is really dirty.In military they only dry cleaned them. I would be careful about washing in a machine or a dryer...most wool products require dry cleaning.
