Here are some more information for Annunciator Control:

Your home may be your castle, but just how safe and secure is your home office? As the number of home-based businesses and telecommuting workers continues to grow, so do the number of homes with computers and other equipment that might be attractive to thieves or that could be destroyed in the event of a fire or natural disaster. Consider these tips for protecting your home office:
- Take a look at your home through the eyes of a criminal. How vulnerable are you? Your local police department may be able to assist you with a security analysis.
- Duplicate important data and store it off-site. Develop a system for regular back-up procedures for your important business records and customer files to minimize your risk.
- Be sure all doors and windows close tightly and have effective locks.
- Check outside for potential access. Are there shrubs where a criminal could hide? Do trees or a ladder near the house make it easy to access second-floor windows?
- Install exterior lighting using timers and/or motion sensors.
- If you travel, be sure someone will pick up mail, newspapers and packages so your absence is not apparent to an observer.
- If other people, such as employees and service personnel, have keys to your house, have the locks re-keyed once a year.
- Think about how your business space relates to the living space in your home. Is it distinctly separate and can it have its own locks and other security elements? Or is it integrated with the rest of your home and difficult to segregate?
- Consider an alarm system to protect both your home and your business.
Today's alarm systems can do much more than simply notify police in the event of a break-in. They can monitor your home for fire, water damage, and even power failures. Systems can be zoned to offer different levels of protection in different sections of your house. Chimes can alert you to the opening of exterior doors and windows--particularly important if you work alone in a large house. Closed-circuit cameras allow you to see who is at your door before you open it; for even more advanced notice, a driveway annunciator can sound an interior chime when a vehicle pulls onto your property. Fixed or portable panic buttons can be programmed to notify police with or without an audible alarm.
Shop carefully for a security system. Though they are becoming increasingly affordable, price should be only a small part of your decision. Find out how long the company has been in business; if they have a local office; how their service is handled; how installers and technicians are trained and if they are insured and bonded. Ask about the system's warranty, the cost of monitoring, and the length of contract. Get statistics on the company's history of apprehensions and scare-offs, and ask how many times their system has been beaten. Finally, ask for and check references.

Bring Your Cheerleading Skills to the Next Level
If you are interested in cheerleading, you may wonder how to improve your skills on your own. If you're not on a squad, drilling and practicing at home can help you prepare to wow your judges at cheerleading tryouts someday in the future. If you're already a member of a cheerleading team, improving a few key aspects of your technique on your own can help you excel at meets and during routines. Gaining mastery of cheerleading techniques can help you build confidence and skills that will translate into success in other arenas of life as well, and if you have the time and inclination, practicing some cheerleading techniques solo can help you take your cheering to the next level. There are three things that you can improve on your own that will strengthen your cheerleading. These are your muscles, your voice, and your mind.
Practicing some gentle stretches or a regular course of yoga, pilates, or strength training can help you to gain flexibility and resilience that will allow you to tackle increasingly advanced athletic feats on the field. From effortless splits to attention getting aerial moves, the better shape you are in the more successful you will be in achieving your goals. You can increase your athletic prowess by spending just twenty or thirty minutes a day stretching in the privacy of your own home. Using the skills you've built later, during a game, can help your squad get the crowd excited and the sports teams you are supporting are certain to appreciate your extra effort.
Although cheerleading is highly visual and depends greatly on athletic feats, the heart of any cheerleading squad is the cheering. Upping your vocal power can help you to reach the sports fans way in the back of the stadium. Learning how to breathe deeply and how to improve your annunciation and vocal control can help you get your message out there without shouting yourself hoarse. For a comprehensive guide to vocal technique, check out any book by Cicely Berry, a theatrical vocal coach renowned for her ability to get the most power and resonance out of any actor's throat.
Last but not least, you can train your mind to make you a better cheerleader. Many cheerleaders enjoy the excitement of cheering for huge crowds, but along with that excitement nerves and tension usually show up before a big game or a competitive cheerleading meet. Psychological tension often translates into physical tension, which can spell problems for a cheerleader who needs to stay relaxed and keep muscles loose in order to execute the sport's demanding moves. The job that cheerleaders do is just as stressful as the job that any athlete does, so it is important to take care of your spirit the same way that an Olympian does. Practicing relaxation techniques like meditation and deep breathing can help you to make sure that when you step onto the field, you are at your peak no matter how many people are watching.

Airbus A330 Ice & Rain control?
In reference to the A330 Ice & Rain control. How does the heat for the Pitot tube work exactly? So it it heated by electric resistance type heat by a coil wrapped around. Fine. But what turns it on? Is it turned on automatically by the onboard computers or does the flight crew have to always remember to flip the switch for the Pitot heater on the instrument panel? What if the circuit breaker should trip and the pilot and co-pilot don't know where the breaker switch is and they are too preoccupied with other stuff to stay in control of the airplane during inclement weather conditions?
Furthermore. If the circuit for the Pitot tube has an "Open" in it preventing the Pitot tube from heating up. Is this dangerous condition sent to the "annunciator panel" to alert the onboard flight crew?
If I remember my A330 GEIC (Ground Engineer's Initial Course) heating is controlled by the Probe Heat Computer and is automatically powered as soon as either engine 1 or 2 is running. The switch is recessed in ( meaning push-in) and would be either white or amber when the aircraft is powered but engines are not.
As soon as one engine is started and running the probes are heated and would illuminate green. if there's a fault or no heating the recessed switch would illuminate amber and a message on ECAM display. If the aircraft is equipped with ACARS (Aircraft Comm. & Reporting Sys.) this fault on the probe heating will be relayed to the Airline Maintenance Control.
Since both the Captain & the FO has a different set of pitot & probes they have just to rely on the good system. FYI the captain side pitot & probes are giving info on the FO while the one on his side is giving info to the Captain. Heating on ground is reduced while in flight is full.
