how to taxi an aircraft accurately . i mean .
how to keep the nose gear on the yellow line from the cockpit.
i saw many videos on youtube. but i did not get my answer .
can anyone tell me what do the pilots use to keep the nose
gear on the yellow line.
These "tricks" will help. 1) Taxi slowly, 2) Don't look right in front of the aircraft while taxiing, look far down the taxiway 3) Imagine the line extending upward like a wall and running right between the seats 4) With the nosewheel on the centerline, get a grease pencil and place a dot on the windshield so that, when you're sitting normally upright in your seat, it appears to be right on the centerline. Place it high enough on the windshield that you're looking down the taxiway and not right in front of the nose. Eventually you won't need this crutch. 5) Get in the habit of occasionally looking out your side window at the main wheel. If the centerline comes in view, you're too far off center.
