It took about 10 or 15 minutes to cross the whole way and was so high I couldn't make out any configuration, only that it left a single contrail. A jetliner passing the other way (non stop) left a dual trail and was clearly visible in detail at about 30,000 feet. I can only guess but I'd say the westbound craft must have been over 60,000 feet, probably more. Any ideas where I might find out more? I'm guessing it was military or research, spectacularly high...
